I can’t begin to tell you how thrilled I am with the outcome of the kitchen remodel at the special needs orphanage Global Partners in Life supports in China! The kitchen was transformed from a dark, cramp, and difficult to function in space to a bright and fully operational kitchen with all the bells and whistles!

thanks

This would not have happened without the help of some very special people. There is a group that funded this project and although I don’t have permission to use their name, they have made a huge impact on the lives of many truly needy people.

Another person I must thank actually sits on the Board of Directors for Global Partners in Life and his name is Frank Windsor. Frank is the General Manager for Rinnai America and when I shared with him about the kitchen remodel he said let me make a call about this project. What I didn’t know is that Rinnai has an office in the city where the special orphanage is and they were more than willing to help.

One man from Rinnai called the leader of the orphanage and then he came to take some measurements. After he had the measurements, he not only delivered some of the appliances but he also had Rinnai personnel install them. They were so kind to provide all of their services for free and then they asked what else they could do for the project. The leader of the orphanage was blown away by how generous and efficient Rinnai and their employees were to her and the children and so was I.

There is an old saying that the proof is in the pudding. I can tell you that I was there on Mother’s Day and some of the children made banana bread for their “mom” as they call her. The food prepared in the new kitchen and baked in the new oven was delicious! Thanks again for those that help Global Partners in Life help others that are truly needy!
